The Famata lodge is a beautiful place with exceptional humans, where the love for nature, family and pleasure come first. Julia and Peter Schachenmann-Razafimanga have fulfilled their dream and built this unusual Lodge - without a firm plan but always according to ecological principles and lots of passion. The bungalows integrate harmoniously into the forest with a diverse fauna and flora. Here, earth, water, sun and wind merge with joy of life and hospitality. Tonga Soa - welcome to paradise.

Family

At the lodge, not only Julia and Peter with daughter Nina are family but also the whole Famata team. Practically, all employees come from the neighbouring village Ankilibe-Namakia.

History of the Famata Lodge

History

2006, Peter and his wife Julia bought a property in Ankilibe-Namakia. Step by step, they built their eco lodge. 2011, the small paradise at sea opened its gates.

Since the beginning, employees are preserving and extending the existing plant diversity. Whether we are talking about coconut or date palms, the famata or other euphorbias: all were grown at the lodge.
